I've got BIG Goals and Dreams for 2015

Wow!! It's been awhile!  I want to grow this blog this year.  That is one of my 2015 goals.  I dream of having lots of followers who are inspired and motivated by what I write.  As I reflect back on 2014, I am aware that I used this blog for mainly race recaps!  I would like it to be so much more than that, so I am going to take the time now to write about some of my other ventures of 2014.

In July of 2014, I became a Beachbody Fitness Coach.  What does that mean?  It means I am here to help you with your fitness goals.  It does not mean that I am here to sell you Beachbody products.  Sure I would love for you to buy the awesome programs that we offer and are proven to work, but I am here more so to motivate you and keep you accountable to your fitness goals, whatever those may be.  I have found a new calling in life with Beachbody.  As many of you know, I have struggled with my weight for most of my life.  It wasn't until a few year ago that I took it upon myself to try to lose the weight.  I wish I would have had a coach at that time.  It would have been so much easier to lose the weight with someone else cheering me on!  I am so excited that that is what I get to do now!  I get the awesome opportunity to cheer you on and help you reach your goals!!  It's awesome!

In October I also became a Jamberry Nail Consultant.  Jamberry Nail Wraps are awesome.   I don't want to say that they are stickers for your nails, because they are so much more than that.  They are awesome wraps that come in all kinds of patterns and stay on your nails for up to 2 weeks without chipping like nail polish.

What I am really trying to do with these businesses is work my family out of our debts due to my student loans and not being responsible with our money.  We have way to many credit cards and we just seem to keep spending money that we don't have.  I feel like it is part of my responsibility to my family to do my best to help work our way out of the mess we have gotten ourselves into.

It's been a struggle finding the time to build these businesses and work full-time, but I know in the end it will be more than worth it.  It will be more than worth it when I can reach my ultimate goal, which is to be home for my kids and to be better able to focus on their education.

Alright, so that brings me to my 2015 Goals and Dreams!  Here they are!!!

1: 2015 is the year I run a FULL MARATHON!!!!  I am making it publically known that I am planning to sign up for the Madison Marathon this year!!!  I am so excited!!!

2: Run at least 4 half marathons, 3 of which I ran last year.

3: Run in 12 races total

4: Run 1,750 miles total for the year (This year I ran 1, 565 miles!!!!)

5: Lose 15-20 pounds / gain muscles and lose belly flab (I am using a combination of Insanity Msx:30, PiYo, and P90 plus my running)

6: Drink Shakeology EVERY DAY!! (This has been a game changer for me in regards to my recovery from running, my energy, my cravings, and my overall health!!)

7: Build my Beachbody Business to Diamond Rank

8: Build my Jamberry Business and have more parties (at least 6)

9: Drink enough water every day (120-150 ounces) AND Eat healthy 80/20 as much as possible, using the 21 Day Fix containers for portion control

10: Build up the following of my BLOG and blog about more that just running!!!

So those are my goals as of right now. Will they change? Maybe! Will I make all of them a reality? I certainly hope so!! I hope to write in a few months that some of these are happening on a regular basis!!

Until next time: Be Strong! You Never Know Who You Are Inspiring!!!

Run on!!

Inspired Endurance Giveaway

I HAVE SOMETHING SUPER AWESOME TO SHARE!! READ ON TO FIND OUT MORE!!! Several times during the past 3 weeks I have been wearing these 2 awesome bracelets from Inspired Endurance.  It was brought to my attention about 4 weeks ago that they were looking for bloggers to wear their jewelry and write a review about them.  I was honored to be able to do this.  I asked for the 13.1 charm for myself and the run charm to give away.  I have been wearing both to see what it would be like to wear multiple bracelets from them.  I love them!  I love them so much that I am actually going to purchase the 26.2 charm to wear with my 13.1 charm so that I can wear 2 of them all the time!   They are so comfortable to wear that I hardly notice that I have them on!  I am a teacher so I am running around all day working with kids, working the copy machine, and typing on the computer.  Normally dangly bracelets will end up driving me crazy about halfway through the day.  These ones have not bothe

MADISON MARATHON 26.2~I AM A MARATHONER!!!!

OMG!!!!!   I DID IT!!! I RAN A MARATHON!!!  I AM A MARATHONER!!!!  I seriously cannot believe I did it! I am still in shock days later! I completed a marathon!  I didn’t DNF! I wanted to several times towards the end, but thanks to some awesome new running friends, I made it through the entire 26.2 miles!  I feel ridiculously sore, but I am the happiest and proudest I think I have ever been of myself!  I DID IT!!!!   I was so nervous waking up this morning!  I didn’t fully know what to expect since it was my first full, but I have run so many other races that I just used my normal routine to get myself going.  I ate breakfast and got myself dressed, then went on to waking up the rest of my crew.  My awesome Mother-in-law spent the night since we had to be up and going so early.  I wanted to leave the house by 5:45 but we never leave when I want to.  Getting my crew up and going is quite a feat this early in the morning!  We were out the door by 6 so I was happy about that.  I just

I may have a Serious Addiction!!!!

In the past 3 weeks I have ran 41, 45, and 46 miles!! Those are some crazy totals considering I would have been lucky to have a total of 20 miles a week back in October/November of last year! I definitely have my mojo back!! I keep wanting to push myself more and more with my running! My legs are feeling strong and powerful and I love it!! I am super proud of how far I have come with my running.  Back when I started running almost 3 years ago, I had a hard time running a full mile on the treadmill and it took me between 13-15 minutes to do it! I would get so down on myself, thinking that I would never be able to run a 10 minute mile! Now I can run that consistently for long distances, but I get down on myself when I can't maintain 9 minute miles for a 5K! I need to just be proud of myself for how far I have come with my running! I will get there! I'm just always in such a competiton with myself! I know I can I can do so much better with my nutrition so I am going to read this b
